This week, we are proud to announce that the sex ratio of Copla Oy’s personnel is 50/50, which means that there is an equal number of men and women working in our company. This is a major achievement especially in the field of technology where studies show a significant sex ratio imbalance. There are considerably more men studying or working in the field, and a study has shown that 40 percent of young people find the division of men and women’s jobs problematic. It’s clear that there’s a lot to be done in the field before reaching gender equality, but we should nonetheless be proud of all achievements that take us in the right direction!

Copla Oy is committed to all the Sustainable Development Goals put forth by the United Nations, and gender equality is one of these important goals we strive for. We strongly oppose discrimination in all its forms and firmly believe that person’s age, gender, or background should not affect their employment opportunities.
